Why do I keep getting a 'Bad request' error message when trying to open a PDF in Chrome?

Answer

You may have multiple PDF viewers attempting to do the same job, causing the error.   

Remove the Extension: Click the "Remove" button next to the extension. 

  1. Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser. 
  2. Access Extensions: Click the three vertical dots (More) in the top right corner of the browser window. 
  3. Go to Extensions: Hover over "More tools" and then click on "Extensions". 
  4. Find the Extension: Locate the extension you wish to remove from the list.
  5. Confirm Removal: A confirmation pop-up may appear. Click "Remove" again to finalize the removal.
