How are books organized in the library?

Answer

The general collection is located on floors 1 & 8 and is open for browsing. Those books are organized using the Library of Congress classification system which groups books by subjects. For more information on how Library of Congress classification system see: https://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/lcco/

Special collection floors (2-6) use their own systems of organizing materials and different access policies.
